Time Attack Mode

Race against your best time, or against the developers and testers!

In Time Attack, you’re locked to Gear 3, and all Item Boxes are replaced with high-power Ring Boxes.

Timing starts the instant you start moving: Charge up a Spindash, line up your angle, and give it your all!

Recording a good time can earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals; check the par time on Course Select, or above the timer in-game.

• Replay: Relive your greatest runs, or peek the staff ghost strategies.
• Ghosts: Enable ghosts if you want to play for pace, or disable ghosts if you want to chill out alone.

• During Time Attack, the Y button no longer triggers Ring Bail—instead, it will instantly restart the round.
• After completing a certain challenge, press R after selecting a course for a high-pressure challenge…
