- A Sonic Boom will blow Toxomister away; it’s useless on downward inclines or sections with tons of Sneaker Panels.
- After it’s been out for a while, the Toxomister runs out of gas. Snatch it by driving into it, and it’ll be full again when it’s redeployed.
- Toxomister prevents Ring usage and offers no defenses, but if you’re being pressured, a quick swerve can catch pursuers off guard.

- A leader holding Toxomister is almost completely defenseless; as long as you’re not riding their bumper, a slingshot overtake is nearly guaranteed.
- An inert Toxomister can be shot or bumped to destroy it, but even an active Toxomister can be defused with a missile.
- If you’re choking on a cloud, route for a pile of Rings to restock, or aim for Sneaker and Dash Panels to blow the gas away!
